BRADENTON – Former Bradenton Marauder Konnor Griffin has been recognized among the best defensive players in Minor League Baseball, earning the 2025 MiLB Gold Glove Award at shortstop.
The award, presented annually by Rawlings, honors the top defensive players at each position across the minor leagues. Griffin’s consistency, range, and strong throwing arm helped him stand out as one of the premier shortstops in the game this season.
Griffin, a highly regarded prospect within the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, first gained attention during his time with the Bradenton Marauders, where he showcased both his defensive instincts and offensive potential. Since advancing through the farm system, he has continued to impress scouts with his athleticism, leadership, and commitment to improvement.
