Four LRHS Teachers Earn 2025 Congressional Educational Award
Four Lakewood Ranch High School educators have been selected to receive the 2025 Congressional Educational Award, an honor recognizing outstanding teachers, administrators, and support staff throughout Florida’s 16th Congressional District.
The award recipients—Felicia Chasey, McKenzie Gorskey, Jennifer Grant, and John Wilkerson—will be formally recognized during a ceremony scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on May 1 at Manatee Technical College.
This prestigious award highlights the dedication and impact of educators who go above and beyond in their commitment to students and the broader school community. As part of the recognition, the names of the honored teachers will be entered into the official Congressional Record, offering national acknowledgment of their contributions to education.
