Free “All is Calm” holiday concert set for Dec. 20 at Patriot Plaza
A free holiday concert featuring highlights from Asolo Repertory Theatre’s production of All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 will be presented Saturday, Dec. 20, at Patriot Plaza at Sarasota National Cemetery. The Patterson Foundation supports the event and will include additional community performers who will recognize the service and sacrifice of veterans and military families.
Organizers say the program will blend music and history in a setting designed for remembrance, with a focus on themes of peace, compassion and shared humanity during the holiday season. The concert is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Patriot Plaza, 9810 State Road 72 in Sarasota.
Attendance is free, but registration is required through PatriotPlazaConcert.org, and space is limited. Event organizers are also seeking additional volunteers to help support the concert experience; those interested can email Beth Duda at bduda@thepattersonfoundation.org.
