Free Community Cleanup Event Set for January 10 in Manatee County
Manatee County residents will have an opportunity to clear out unwanted bulky items in the new year at a free Community Cleanup event on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
The cleanup will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at two drop-off locations: Parrish Community Park and Myakka City Community Center. The event is designed to help residents responsibly dispose of large household items that are difficult to remove through regular trash collection.
The service is available at no cost to residents of unincorporated Manatee County only. Participants must provide proof of residency at the drop-off sites. County officials note that certain materials will be accepted, while others will not, and encourage residents to review the complete list in advance.
