Free Homeschool Community Fair Coming to Bradenton Aug. 29
Homeschool families from across Manatee County and the surrounding area are invited to attend Find Your Village, a free homeschool community fair taking place on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bethel Church in Bradenton.
The event is designed to connect homeschooling families with local co-ops, microschools, enrichment programs and activity providers, giving parents an opportunity to explore educational resources and build community in one location.
Organized by homeschool mom and AskKoa co-founder Cheyanne Cleyman, Find Your Village follows a successful inaugural event in Venice that welcomed more than 100 families and 13 homeschool co-ops. The Bradenton event is expected to feature more than 25 vendors representing a variety of homeschool organizations and educational services.
In addition to meeting local providers, attendees can enjoy activities for children, raffle prizes and two food trucks.
The event is free and open to all families. Advance registration is encouraged.
