Free Household Hazardous Waste and E-Scrap Disposal Event Set for Saturday in Bradenton

Manatee County residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of household hazardous waste and electronic scrap this weekend during a free collection event hosted by Manatee County Utilities.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Manatee County Utilities facility, located at 4524 66th St. W in Bradenton. Staff will be on site throughout the day to assist residents with the proper disposal of accepted materials.

The collection is limited to household hazardous waste and electronic scrap. Officials emphasize that no residential or commercial garbage, bulk items, standard recycling, or yard waste will be accepted at this event.

These collection events are designed to help residents safely dispose of materials that could harm the environment if not handled properly, while also keeping hazardous items out of local landfills.
