Free Housing Law Clinic Empowers Tenants in Bradenton on April 25
Bradenton residents facing housing challenges are invited to attend a free legal clinic hosted by Gulfcoast Legal Services in partnership with Manatee County Community and Veterans Services. The "Know Your Rights: Housing Law" session will occur on Thursday, April 25, from 4 to 5 PM at the Salvation Army, located at 1204 14th St W, Bradenton.
This first-of-its-kind clinic aims to equip tenants with essential legal knowledge to protect their housing rights. Attendees can speak directly with attorneys and paralegals about eviction prevention, fair housing protections, ADA accommodations, foreclosure defense, and other landlord-tenant disputes.
The event is part of a series of CDBG-sponsored legal aid sessions offered at no cost to income-eligible participants. No appointment is necessary, but residents are encouraged to bring a photo ID and proof of income, such as a pay stub or benefits statement.
Gulfcoast Legal Services is committed to preventing homelessness and ensuring housing stability through education and advocacy. Visit www.gulfcoastlegal.org for more information or to complete a legal assistance application.
