Free Vaccine and Microchipping Clinic Set for May 27 at Bishop Animal Shelter
Manatee County residents still have time to reserve appointments for a free pet vaccine and microchipping clinic scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Bishop Animal Shelter in Bradenton.
The clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bishop Animal Shelter, located at 5718 21st Ave. W. The event is being offered by Manatee County Animal Welfare and is available by appointment only.
Services available during the clinic include free vaccinations and free microchipping for pets. Officials said appointments are filling quickly and encouraged residents to schedule early.
The clinic is limited to three pets per household per clinic. Organizers also reminded attendees that all cats must be secured in carriers and all dogs must be kept on a leash while at the event.
The free clinics are designed to help local pet owners keep animals healthy, protected and easier to identify if they become lost.
Appointments can be scheduled online through Manatee County’s pet clinic registration page at mymanatee.org/petclinic.
