Goodwill Manasota, Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast Reports Broad Community Impact in 2025
Goodwill Manasota, Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast released its 2025 impact summary highlighting progress in environmental sustainability, workforce development, food recovery, and community support across the region.
According to the report, more than 100 million pounds of donated goods were diverted from landfills through reuse and recycling, underscoring Goodwill’s role in reducing waste and extending the life of donated items. In addition, 250,592 pounds of food were collected and distributed to local food banks, supporting food security efforts in the communities served.
Workforce and employment services remained a central focus throughout the year. A total of 7,527 individuals received support through Goodwill programs, with 1,296 individuals successfully placed in jobs. Veterans also benefited from targeted services, with 478 veterans assisted through employment and support initiatives.
The organization reported that 59.6 percent of its team members self-identified as having a barrier to employment or a disabling condition, underscoring Goodwill’s mission to provide inclusive employment opportunities and supportive work environments.
During financial hardship, Goodwill provided more than $70,000 in emergency assistance to help individuals remain stable and engaged in the workforce. Education and skill-building also played a significant role, with 44,538 hours of education and training delivered to participants during the year.
