Growing Together Initiative Advances with North River Manatee Community Action Lab
The Growing Together in North River Manatee County initiative is entering its next phase this month as community members, organizations and local leaders begin transforming months of public input into collaborative action.
Following an extensive community listening process and the release of a report highlighting residents’ shared priorities, the Harwood Public Innovators: Getting Started Lab will convene invited participants who have been involved throughout the initiative. The lab is designed to help participants develop practical strategies based on the needs and ideas identified by the community.
The initiative focuses on strengthening relationships, building trust among neighbors and organizations, and supporting locally driven solutions that reflect the experiences of those who know North River Manatee County best.
Organizers say the next phase will emphasize collaboration and community-led problem-solving, with participants working together to identify actionable steps that can create lasting, positive change throughout the area.
