Help The Salvation Army of Manatee Bring Joy to Neighbors in Need This Giving Tuesday
Contributions made will have a profound impact on local community members this holiday season.
On Dec. 2, 2025, The Salvation Army of Manatee County invites community members to take part in Giving Tuesday, a global celebration of generosity held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Amid the holiday rush, it offers an opportunity to pause, give back, and support those in need.
Financial contributions made on Giving Tuesday help ensure that individuals and families in Manatee County have access to essentials such as food, shelter, and support services throughout the holidays and year-round. Donations stay local, providing real and immediate assistance to neighbors facing hardship.
Each year, The Salvation Army of Manatee serves over 5,000 people through a wide range of programs, including Emergency Shelter, Food Assistance, Free Daily Dinners, Christmas Assistance, Pathway of Hope, Disaster Relief, Youth Programs, Life Enhancement, and Adult Rehabilitation. These efforts are only possible thanks to the generosity of community members.
“We are incredibly grateful to those who choose to give back this Giving Tuesday,” said Deral Pitts, Director of Community Relations & Development. “Every gift, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact and helps us continue serving the most vulnerable members of our community.”
