Holmes Beach Chair to Host Community Town Hall at Island Library
Holmes Beach City Commission Chairperson Carol Whitmore will host a town hall meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 5 p.m. at the Island Branch Library to connect directly with residents, business owners, and other community members.
The informal gathering is designed to provide an opportunity for open dialogue, allowing Whitmore to hear city-related priorities, concerns and ideas from those who live and work in Holmes Beach. The meeting is intended as a listening session focused on community feedback and local perspectives.
Whitmore returned to the Holmes Beach City Commission in late 2024 after serving for many years as a Manatee County commissioner. Since resuming her role at the city level, she has emphasized the importance of community engagement and direct communication with constituents.
The meeting will take place at the Island Branch Library, located at 5701 Marina Drive in Holmes Beach. The town hall is open to the public, and all interested community members are encouraged to attend.
