Homicide Investigation Underway After Deadly Shooting at Rossi Park

The Bradenton Police Department has launched a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting early Sunday morning at Rossi Park on the Bradenton Riverwalk.

At approximately 4:07 a.m. on March 30, 2025, dispatchers received reports of gunfire at the park. Responding officers discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately provided aid. Emergency Medical Services transported the victims to local hospitals, where one succumbed to injuries. The remaining two victims are currently receiving medical treatment; their conditions have not been disclosed.

Preliminary investigations indicate that at least two individuals exchanged gunfire during the incident. Two suspects are now in custody, and authorities have stated there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
