Humane Society of Manatee County Seeking Newspaper and Pee Pad Donations for Veterinary Clinic
The Humane Society of Manatee County (HSMC) is asking for community assistance as its veterinary clinic faces an urgent need for newspapers and potty pads. These essential items are used daily to help keep patients clean and dry during surgeries and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) procedures.
Donations can be dropped off at the HSMC Veterinary Clinic, located at 2415 14th Street West in Bradenton. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Community members are encouraged to contribute any newspapers or pee pads they can spare to help support the clinic’s work with both owned pets and community animals.
The Humane Society of Manatee County has served the region for more than 50 years, advancing the welfare of animals through compassionate care, education, and advocacy. Founded in 1970, the organization operates as a no-kill shelter and offers affordable veterinary services to the public, including spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and wellness care. Its mission centers on promoting responsible pet ownership and reducing pet overpopulation across Manatee County.
