Illegal Gambling Operation Shut Down at Bradenton Arcade
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has shut down an illegal gambling operation at New Winners Circle Arcade on 26th Street West following an undercover investigation into unlawful gaming activity.
Detectives confirmed that the arcade, located at 4307 26th Street West, was operating electronic slot and gaming machines in violation of Florida law. After gathering evidence, the Sheriff’s Office tactical unit executed a search warrant on Nov. 10, seizing 58 slot machines valued at approximately $290,000, along with 51 computer towers valued at more than $15,000. Investigators also collected a DVR system and $19,055 in cash from the premises.
Although no customers or employees were arrested during the operation, the business owner remains under investigation. According to the Sheriff’s Office, management had been previously warned and issued a cease-and-desist order before the raid, but the arcade continued to operate. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing as they determine potential charges related to the illegal gambling activities.
