Keep Manatee Beautiful Hosts June Cleanup at Coach Eddie Shannon Park

PALMETTO – Volunteers and community members are invited to participate in the next "First Tuesday Cleanup," hosted by Keep Manatee Beautiful. The June event will take place at Coach Eddie Shannon Park, located at 501 17th Street West in Palmetto.

The cleanup is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3 at 4:30 p.m., and is part of a monthly initiative aimed at keeping Manatee County’s neighborhoods and public spaces clean and litter-free.

Participants will meet at the park before heading out to collect debris and enhance the surrounding area's beauty. Keep Manatee Beautiful provides supplies, including gloves, bags, and safety vests. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes and to bring water to stay hydrated.

This ongoing community effort promotes environmental responsibility and civic pride throughout Manatee County.
