Lakewood Ranch Unveils Plans for Expansive Entertainment District Featuring Family Attractions, Dining, and Wellness Spaces
A major new entertainment district is taking shape in Lakewood Ranch, bringing a mix of family-friendly attractions, nightlife experiences, and wellness amenities to one growing destination.
The multi-faceted development is designed to offer something for all ages, combining family fun, social gathering spaces, and lifestyle-focused facilities. The project is already underway, with one key attraction now open and several others slated to follow over the next two years.
Leading the lineup is Urban Air Adventure Park, which has officially opened its doors. The indoor venue offers a wide range of activities, including trampolines, climbing walls, laser tag, and go-kart-style attractions, creating a high-energy environment for families, groups, and visitors of all ages.
Looking ahead, SkyTrack Family Entertainment Center is projected to open by mid-2027. Plans for the facility include a multi-story electric go-kart track, arcade games, bowling lanes, mini golf, and food and beverage options. The venue is expected to serve as a centerpiece attraction within the district.
Backyard Social is anticipated to open in fall 2026, offering an outdoor-focused experience with food trucks, a full-service bar, lawn games, and a live entertainment stage. The space is being designed as a social hub for events, music, and community gatherings.
Also in development is Life Time, expected to open in late 2026. The athletic country club-style facility will feature resort-style pools, pickleball courts, a full-service spa, and fitness areas, catering to both recreation and wellness.
Together, the projects aim to transform the area into a destination for both residents and visitors, blending daytime activities with evening entertainment and relaxation options. As construction progresses, the district is expected to play a significant role in shaping Lakewood Ranch’s future as a regional hub for entertainment and lifestyle experiences.
