Local Teens Inspired by Student Art Contest at East2West Arts & Craft Market
Community, Creativity, and Culture at the Bradenton Area Convention Center
Creative teens of Manatee County will have the opportunity to experience being a professional artist at the Student Art Contest sponsored by The Parrish Arts Council. It will take place during the 10th anniversary of the East2West Arts & Craft Market on November 22nd and 23rd, 2025 at the Bradenton Area Convention Center.
Kaia Kulig, a student at Manatee School for the Arts, Palmetto, FL will be participating and encourages other young artists to take advantage of this unique opportunity. She said, “You can submit anything, as long as you follow the guidelines. Of course, you never know-you might win!”. Kaia expresses the joy of art, stating, “Creating art is really fun; I lose time when I create.” She has been inspired by many great artists in her own family and has received a Second Place win in a photography contest.
This Art Contest is notable for its “People’s Choice” award, giving Art Market attendees the chance to vote for their favorite student artwork. It’s a wonderful way for teens to showcase their talent and engage with peers and family. Prizes for the top entries include a $100 gift certificate to Blick Art for First Prize and a $50 gift certificate for Second Prize. Be sure to attend the Arts & Craft market and show your support for your favorite artist.
The East2West Arts & Craft Market is a free, indoor celebration of the arts. It will feature original artwork from local and regional artists, raffle baskets, interactive “Try Art” booths for children, and live music performed by talented local school students.
