LPGA Tour Returns to Bradenton with New Title Sponsor
The LPGA Tour is set to make its highly anticipated return to Bradenton next month, now under a new title sponsor. The Founders Cup, presented by the U.S. Virgin Islands, will take place February 6–9 at the Bradenton Country Club, marking the first full-field tournament of the LPGA Tour’s 2025 season.
The event debuted last year as the LPGA Drive On Championship, with hometown star Nelly Korda capturing a thrilling victory in a two-hole playoff against Lydia Ko. Korda, who went on to dominate the 2024 season with seven total wins and the Rolex Player of the Year title, will return to defend her crown. She’ll be joined by an elite field, including Lydia Ko, Celine Boutier, Allisen Corpuz, Brooke Henderson, and other major champions.
Bradenton Country Club, a historic Donald Ross-designed course, first opened in 1924 and has seen significant upgrades, including restorations by Ron Garl and Tony Jacklin. The course will again be showcased internationally, highlighting its prestige and the community’s support for professional golf.
Tickets for the event are on sale now, starting at $39 for daily general admission and $129 for weekly passes. Admission is complimentary for children 17 and under with an adult ticket purchase. For more details and ticket purchases, visit SeatGeek.com.
With the U.S. Virgin Islands as a partner, this year’s tournament celebrates golf and strengthens ties between Bradenton and the global golf community, solidifying the city’s place as a premier host for world-class sporting events.
