Main Line Break Disrupts Palmetto’s Reclaimed Water Service; Restoration Expected by Friday
The City of Palmetto has announced a temporary citywide outage of its reclaimed water system following a mainline break. Public Works crews are currently on site conducting repairs, with service expected to be restored by Friday morning, May 30.
Officials emphasized that the disruption affects only the reclaimed water system. Household drinking water remains safe and fully operational, with no impact on tap water availability or quality.
The city is urging residents to remain patient during the repair process and to stay updated through official channels. Another notice will be issued once full service has resumed.
