Manatee Chamber and School District Partner to Connect Businesses with Classrooms
As students across Manatee County prepare to return to class on August 11, the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and the School District of Manatee County are once again teaming up to promote impactful partnerships between local businesses and public schools. This initiative, built on the belief that collaboration fuels student success, aims to strengthen education through community engagement.
Through the ePIE (Partners in Education) online platform, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations can seamlessly connect with public schools to share resources, support learning initiatives, and invest in the next generation of leaders.
These strategic partnerships benefit both sides: businesses gain meaningful visibility, volunteer opportunities, and potential future workforce connections, while schools receive much-needed resources, mentorship, and enhanced learning opportunities.
The benefits to students are profound—expanded curriculum options, real-world exposure, increased confidence, and access to tools that help accelerate achievement. From internships and guest speakers to scholarships and classroom supplies, the possibilities for support are as diverse as the needs of the district.
Current needs include student and staff incentives, mentoring programs, tutoring, internships, guest speakers, and donations of supplies or services. Every contribution—no matter the size—plays a role in preparing students for success in a competitive and evolving workforce.
Organizations interested in making a lasting difference in education are encouraged to apply through the ePIE platform and explore the many ways to get involved.
