Manatee Chamber Celebrates Rising Leaders at 2026 MYP Gala and Awards Night
The Manatee Chamber of Commerce spotlighted the next generation of community leaders during its annual MYP Gala & Awards, themed Raise the Stakes held at The Elia Event Venue. The evening recognized outstanding young professionals whose leadership, service, and innovation continue to shape the future of Manatee County.
The event brought together emerging leaders, business professionals, and community partners for a night dedicated to celebrating impact and achievement. Attendees gathered to honor individuals and organizations that are raising the bar through their commitment to professional excellence and community engagement.
Among the evening’s honorees, Shawn Osborne of Cox Chevrolet received the Engagement Award for fostering strong connections and involvement within the community.
Karena Ballard, representing both the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Bradenton Marauders, received the Bright Beginnings Award, recognizing early-career excellence and promise.
Amariah Dawes of Johnson Messal Bristow PLLC earned the Legacy Award for making a lasting impact through leadership and service.
The Employer Award was awarded to Oysters Rock Hospitality, the team behind Anna Maria Oyster Bar, for its commitment to supporting and developing young professionals in the workplace.
The evening’s highest honor, Young Professional of the Year, was awarded to Aubrie Polson of Harbor Chiropractic for her leadership, influence, and dedication to making a meaningful difference in the community.
