Manatee Chamber Earns “Certified Plus” Designation from Florida Association of Chamber Professionals
Also Recognized with Communications Award; VP Honored for Statewide Service
The Manatee Chamber of Commerce has been recognized among the top chambers in Florida, earning recertification as a “Certified Plus” Chamber - the highest level of certification awarded by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP). The honor was presented at the FACP 2025 Annual Conference, held November 4-6 at the Boca Raton Marriott at the Boca Center.
The Certified Plus distinction signifies that the Manatee Chamber exceeds industry standards in all areas of chamber management and operations. This rigorous peer-review process evaluates chambers in Florida in five key areas: Governance and Legal Documents, Strategic Direction, Financial and Risk Management, Administration and Staffing, and Membership Services.
“Earning this statewide recertification - at the highest level awarded - affirms the strength, professionalism, impact, and commitment to excellence of the Manatee Chamber,” said Stu Henderson, Chair of the Board of the Manatee Chamber and Partner at Fawley Bryant Architecture. “It reflects the dedication of our staff, board, and volunteers, as well as the unwavering support of our members who make our mission possible.”
In addition to the Certified Plus recertification, the Manatee Chamber received an FACP Communications Award for its Preferred Business Directory and Community Guide, recognizing excellence in design, content, and community engagement.
“These honors are a testament to our Chamber’s leadership, innovation, and dedication to serving our business community,” added Dezelski. “We’re proud of our work, our voice on behalf of our members, and our commitment to being world class connectors for our region.”
The Manatee Chamber also congratulates Vice President Kim Dalglish, who was honored for her dedicated five years of service on the FACP Board of Directors. Dalglish has played an active role in advancing chamber excellence and professional development across the state.
