Manatee Children’s Services Announces “Groovin’ for Good” Gala to Support Child Abuse Prevention and Healing
Manatee Children’s Services (MCS) is thrilled to announce its first “Groovin’ for Good” gala, taking place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the beautiful Palmetto Marriott Resort & Spa.
This unforgettable evening will transport guests back to the disco era for a dazzling night of dinner, dancing, live music, and exclusive auction items: all in support of MCS’s mission to protect children, prevent abuse, and promote healing through essential programs such as trauma-focused therapy, shelter, family support, and personal safety education. Attendees will also hear powerful stories from families whose lives have been transformed by Manatee Children’s Services.
Guests are encouraged to dress in cocktail attire or 70s-themed semiformal wear. Those who wear themed attire can opt to participate in a fun and spirited costume contest, where winners will receive exciting prizes.
Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $12,000; each tied to a specific program impact: from trauma-focused therapy and emergency shelter meals to kinship family support and crisis kits for children. Full details and sponsorship packages are available at http://www.mcsgala2025.com.
Individual tickets, table sponsorships, and brand sponsorships are now available for purchase online. Guests are encouraged to wear their best disco-era attire and come ready to dance the night away for a great cause.
