Manatee County Accepting Applications for Historic Preservation Board
Manatee County is accepting applications for three seats on the Historic Preservation Board, a citizen’s advisory committee that makes decision on Historic Certificates of Appropriateness.
The Board of County Commissioners appoints members to a four-year term; the Historic Preservation Board consists of five voting members who are qualified electors in Manatee County. While no particular expertise is required, persons with experience or training in the substantive areas of historic preservation.

Historic Preservation Board members cannot be employed by the County or serve as a member of another land development-related advisory board serving unincorporated Manatee County.
The group meets a minimum of 4 times a year in the Manatee Room, Fifth Floor of Manatee County Administrative Building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W.
