Manatee County Animal Welfare is calling on the community to step forward as the shelter faces an urgent need for foster homes for several dogs awaiting placement.
Send them to the new county building in Lakewood Ranch. Unfortunately the cubicles are not even big enough per requirements to hold a medium size dog.
