Manatee County Celebrates Excellence in Education at Annual Awards Ceremony
The Excellence in Education Awards spotlighted Manatee County’s outstanding educators, support staff, and administrators during a Wednesday evening celebration at Manatee Technical College. The event, hosted by the Manatee Education Foundation, honored those who make a lasting impact on local schools and students.
Among the night’s top honorees were:
🏆 Educator of the Year – Stacy Freeman, Third-Grade Teacher, Gilbert W. McNeal Elementary
🏆 Support Employee of the Year – Suzanne Theiss, Senior School Secretary, Southeast High
🎉 Principal of the Year – Kimberlain Zenon, Braden River Middle
🎉 Assistant Principal of the Year – Craig Page, Southeast High
