Manatee County Development Services Lobbies Close for Relocation, Reopen Nov. 18 in Lakewood Ranch

Manatee County officials are reminding residents that the Development Services lobbies at the Downtown Administration Building will be closed from Thursday, November 14, through Monday, November 17, as the department prepares to relocate. The offices will reopen on Tuesday, November 18, at their new location: 9000 Town Center Parkway, Lakewood Ranch.

During the temporary closure, services will continue to be available through the Accela Online Services Portal at mymanatee.org, ensuring that permitting and other development-related needs can still be processed. County staff also confirmed that inspections will proceed as scheduled and will not be affected by the transition.

The move is part of a broader effort to improve accessibility and streamline services for builders, contractors, and residents. County leaders say the new location will offer expanded space and upgraded facilities to serve the community better.
