Manatee County EMS Launches Mobile Health Clinic to Expand Access to Care
Manatee County EMS has introduced a new Mobile Health Clinic as part of its Community Health Program, designed to deliver vital healthcare services directly to neighborhoods throughout the county. The initiative seeks to make preventive care and health education more accessible to residents who may face barriers to traditional medical services.
The Mobile Health Clinic offers free walk-up care, including blood pressure screenings, Narcan distribution, wound care, and connections to resources for the homeless. Health education and referrals to community programs are also available on-site.
Residents can visit the Mobile Health Clinic at the Rocky Bluff Library, located at 6750 US-301 in Ellenton, every second Wednesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The program reflects Manatee County’s continued commitment to promoting wellness and providing support for underserved populations. For more information, visit myManatee.org/CommunityHealth.
