Manatee County Encourages Residents to Report Code Violations Through 311 System
Manatee County is making it easier than ever for residents to report code violations and help maintain the safety and appearance of local neighborhoods.
Whether it's overgrown grass, illegal dumping, or unsafe structures, residents have multiple options to alert county officials. Reports can be submitted through the 311 mobile app or website, by calling Manatee 311, directly contacting Code Enforcement at (941) 748-2071, or emailing code.enforcement@mymanatee.org.
Officials remind residents that, under Florida State Statute 162, anonymous complaints cannot be investigated unless the reported issue poses a threat to public health, safety, or welfare. Additionally, all information provided in a complaint becomes part of the public record.
The initiative aims to empower community members to take an active role in preserving the quality of life throughout the county. A full list of county codes and more information can be found by visiting mymanatee.org/code.
By encouraging prompt and easy reporting, Manatee County continues its commitment to responsive service and neighborhood well-being.
