Manatee County is reminding residents that one of the easiest ways to conserve water is to let Mother Nature do the work before turning on irrigation systems.
If Manatee Country actually cared about water conservation they would be writing a lot more code tickets for violating the SWFWMD irrigation rules. It's super obvious who is still watering their lawns like crazy.
There is no reclaimed water available in NW Bradenton above Manatee other than west of 75th St (plus a little extra just east on 9th). That means, for example, everyone with a perfect lawn along Riverview is watering > 1/week.
