Manatee County High School Football Roundup: Week Ending September 20, 2025
High school football teams across Manatee County closed out the week with a mix of strong wins and close contests, highlighting both offensive and defensive performances.
At Hawkins Stadium, the Manatee Hurricanes earned a non-conference home victory over IMG Academy Junior National, 37-19. The Hurricanes maintained control throughout the matchup to secure the win.
The Southeast Seminoles recorded a 52-6 road win in Orlando against Cypress Creek. Southeast established an early lead and sustained momentum to finish with a decisive non-conference result.
The Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Falcons edged out Seven Rivers Christian in Lecanto, 21-20, in a close conference game.
Several other Manatee County teams found success at home. The Parrish Community Bulls defeated the Braden River Pirates, 40-6, in a local matchup. The Palmetto Tigers recorded a 21-6 win against Calvary Christian, while the Bradenton Christian Panthers earned a 20-6 result over Countryside Christian.
On Thursday, the Bayshore Bruins posted one of the week’s largest margins, defeating the IMG Academy State Ascenders 57-7.
Manatee County programs now turn their focus to the upcoming schedule as district and conference play begins to take shape.
