Manatee County Hosts Agriculture Adventure Day at John H. Marble Park
Manatee County residents are invited to celebrate local agriculture at Agriculture Adventure Day on Saturday, March 22, from noon to 4 p.m. at the recently reopened John H. Marble Park. Hosted by The Veranda View in partnership with Manatee County, the event will showcase the region’s rich farming heritage while offering interactive experiences for attendees of all ages.
Visitors can explore a variety of agricultural equipment, meet local growers and producers, and shop for fresh, locally sourced products. A special highlight of the event is the "Touch a Tractor" experience, allowing children and families to see and learn about farm machinery up close.
Additionally, an invasive plant species exchange will allow attendees to swap harmful non-native plants for a free native plant, helping to promote sustainable landscaping and environmental conservation.
John H. Marble Park, located at 3675 53rd Avenue E in Bradenton, recently reopened after renovations, making it ideal for this community-centered celebration of agriculture. Linder Turf & Tractor will provide equipment for the event.
Agriculture Adventure Day is a free event, open to all. It offers a unique opportunity to learn about the role of farming in Manatee County while supporting local farmers and sustainable practices.
