Manatee County Hosts Family-Friendly Reptile Fest Event with Hands-On Activities
Manatee County is inviting residents and visitors to Reptile Fest, a family-friendly event focused on the important role reptiles play in the ecosystem. Taking place at 840 99th St NW, Bradenton, FL, the three-hour event offers hands-on activities and educational experiences for all ages.
Attendees will have the chance to learn what to do when encountering a gopher tortoise and explore a gopher tortoise burrow up close. Reptile Fest also provides the opportunity to meet live reptiles and participate in interactive activities designed to foster an understanding of these creatures' roles in nature.
Inside the NEST building, families can enjoy a variety of reptile-themed activities, including puzzles, puppets, and a craft project perfect for children. With puzzles, puppets, and engaging activities, the event promises an informative and fun-filled day for families.
The event is open to the public, and anyone interested is encouraged to register in advance at mymanatee.org/reptifest.
