Manatee County Hosts Free Pet Vaccine and Microchip Clinic
Manatee County Animal Welfare is offering a valuable opportunity for pet owners to keep their furry companions healthy and safe. On Saturday, January 4, from 8 a.m. to noon, a free vaccine and microchipping clinic will be held at Lincoln Park, 501 17th Street East in Palmetto.
The event is open to cats and dogs. On a first-come, first-served basis, essential vaccines and microchips will be provided to the first 200 pets. To ensure the safety of all attendees, cats must be in carriers, and dogs must remain on leashes.
In addition to vaccines and microchips, attendees can pick up free pet pantry items while supplies last, helping to support the well-being of animals in the community.
This initiative reflects Manatee County’s commitment to animal welfare. It provides resources to promote responsible pet ownership and protect pets from preventable illnesses.
