Manatee County Invites Public Input at Envision Manatee Comprehensive Plan Workshops
Manatee County is hosting a series of Public Information Meetings to discuss updates to the County’s Comprehensive Plan: “Envision Manatee”—the policy that sets the framework for future development within the County.
Work on developing the 2045 plan is wrapping up, and outreach and stakeholder feedback remains a key component to this process. Information regarding the comprehensive plan, along with the opportunity for public input from citizens on how future development should proceed, will be included in the initial stakeholder meetings scheduled at county public libraries and facilities this month. Please note that information presented at the various meetings will be identical, so there is no need to attend more than one session.
The first Community Workshop meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Mixon Farms, 2525 27th St E, Bradenton.
Two sessions are scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Myakka Community Center, 10060 Wauchula Road, Myakka City, and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lakewood Ranch Library, 16410 Rangeland Parkway, Bradenton.
The Rocky Bluff Library will host a meeting Monday, March 30, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at 6750 US Highway 301 N. in Ellenton.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, the Braden River Library will host a meeting at 4915 53rd Ave. E. in Bradenton, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Finally, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, the last of the community workshops will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Palmetto Library, 923 6th St W. in Palmetto.
These meetings represent some of the many opportunities that have been available for public interaction during the development of the 2045 plan. Details on further community workshops will be made available as needed and posted on the Comprehensive Plan Webpage and social media.
