Manatee County Invites Public to Envision Manatee Workshops on Future Growth Plan
Manatee County is inviting residents to participate in a series of upcoming workshops focused on “Envision Manatee,” the county’s Comprehensive Plan that guides long-term growth and development.
The workshops, scheduled throughout late March and early April, will provide updates to the county’s 2045 plan while offering opportunities for community members to share input on future priorities, land use, and development strategies.
Multiple meetings will be held across the county to encourage broad participation:
Myakka Community Center on Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Lakewood Ranch Library on Saturday, March 28, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
Rocky Bluff Library on Monday, March 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Braden River Library on Wednesday, April 1, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Palmetto Library on Thursday, April 2, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Each session is designed to update residents on progress toward the 2045 Comprehensive Plan and gather feedback that will help shape policies affecting housing, infrastructure, environmental conservation, and economic development.
The Envision Manatee plan serves as the county’s blueprint for managing growth, ensuring that future development aligns with community needs and preserves the quality of life for residents.
