Manatee County Jail Inmate Visitation Suspended July 7 for Video System Upgrades
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has announced that inmate visitation at the Manatee County Jail will be temporarily unavailable on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, as upgrades are completed to the facility’s video visitation system.
The temporary closure is necessary to allow improvements to the system used for inmate video visits. Officials said the enhancements are intended to improve the overall visitation experience once the work is complete.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the public for its patience and understanding during the one-day interruption and expects visitation services to resume after the upgrades have been completed.
