Manatee County Launches Email Sign-Up for Disaster Recovery Program Updates

Manatee County has opened its official sign-up form for residents and stakeholders to receive email updates on “Lasting Manatee,” the county’s long-term recovery initiative funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Relief (CDBG-DR) program.

The county has been allocated $252 million in federal funding to support recovery efforts related to the impacts of Hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton. These funds will be used to develop programs that assist housing, infrastructure, economic revitalization, and other community needs.

The new email list will provide timely notifications about upcoming opportunities for public input, program launches, and progress updates as Manatee County develops its recovery plan.
