Manatee County Launches Free Entrepreneurial Program for Veterans and Their Families
Manatee County has unveiled a new initiative designed to support veterans and their families by offering free entrepreneurship classes, workshops, and networking events. This effort is made possible through a collaboration with the 26 West Entrepreneurship Center at State College of Florida and is part of the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program. The program will assist veterans in translating military skills into successful entrepreneurial ventures.
The Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program, supported by funding from the Florida Legislature and Veterans Florida, provides an invaluable opportunity for veterans and their families to start or grow their businesses at no cost. The initiative is part of the larger development of the Veteran Connections Hub, a one-stop center designed to streamline access to services, benefits, counseling, and community resources for veterans.
Veterans and their families are encouraged to participate in the program, which will offer them essential tools and support for their entrepreneurial journey. For more information, interested parties can reach out to Lee dePalo at lee.depalo@mymanatee.org.
