Manatee County Libraries Host 2025 Town Hall Series to Foster Community Engagement
Manatee County Commissioner George Kruse is set to kick off his 2025 Library Town Hall Series, which will allow residents to connect with local officials and discuss pressing community issues. The series, which will run from January through June, local officials and discuss pre will take place across six library branches, ensuring accessibility for residents throughout the county.
The series begins on January 15 at the South Manatee Branch Library and continues monthly, with stops at the Island Branch Library, Palmetto Branch Library, Braden River Library, and Lakewood Ranch Branch. It concludes at the Rocky Bluff Library on June 19.
Each meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. The gatherings aim to create an open forum where attendees can voice concerns, ask questions, and engage in dialogue about the future of Manatee County.
By hosting the events at libraries, these sessions also highlight libraries' vital role as community hubs for learning and civic engagement. This initiative aligns with the county's efforts to maintain transparency and foster stronger relationships with its residents.
