Manatee County Recreation Centers Adjust Hours for Memorial Day

Residents looking to enjoy local recreation facilities on Memorial Day will need to plan ahead, as several county-run centers will operate under special holiday hours.

At GT Bray Park, the Recreation Center will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., while the pool will remain open for extended hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Walton Racquet Center Office will be closed, though racquet center participants will still have access to the courts by entering through the main recreation center.

The John Marble Recreation Center will also be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering early hours for those who want to get in a workout or activity before holiday festivities.

For those looking to cool off, the Lincoln Park Pool will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing a midday option for families and swimmers.
