Manatee County Residents Encouraged to Participate in Upcoming Commissioner Town Halls
Manatee County residents are invited to attend a series of upcoming Commissioner Town Halls at local library branches. These meetings allow community members to engage in discussions and participate in Q&A sessions on various county-related topics. No registration is required, making it easy for residents to join and stay informed about issues affecting their communities.
The town halls will feature three County Commissioners, each hosting an event at a different library branch. Commissioner George Kruse kicked off the series last Wednesday. Commissioner Carol Ann Felts will continue the discussions at the Rocky Bluff Branch on Friday, January 24, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Commissioner Dr. Bob McCann will follow with a session at the Lakewood Ranch Branch on Wednesday, February 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The series will conclude with Commissioner Tal Siddique hosting at the same location on Thursday, February 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
These town halls serve as a platform for residents to stay updated on local initiatives, voice their concerns, and gain insight into county operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with their elected officials and contribute to ongoing discussions that shape the community.
