Manatee County Safety Fest 2026 Invites Families for Hands-On Public Safety Experience
Manatee County is inviting families to mark their calendars for Safety Fest 2026, a free, family-friendly event designed to give residents an interactive look at public safety services while providing a fun and educational experience for children.
Scheduled for Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will take place at the Public Safety Center located at 2101 47th Terrace East in Bradenton. Safety Fest will feature a variety of hands-on activities and opportunities for families to engage directly with local first responders.
Children and families will be able to climb aboard fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles while learning about the equipment used by public safety crews each day. The event also includes interactive learning stations, tours inside the Public Safety Center, and opportunities to meet the professionals who serve the community.
Attendees can expect an engaging environment where kids can explore, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of how emergency services operate. The event aims to strengthen community connections while promoting safety awareness in an approachable and memorable way.
The first 200 guests will receive a free hot dog, drink, and shaved ice, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere of the day.
Safety Fest is free to attend and open to the public. Additional information is available at mymanatee.org/safetyfest.
