Manatee County School Board Honors Boys & Girls Clubs Youth of the Year Winners

At its Tuesday meeting, the Manatee County School Board recognized outstanding young leaders, honoring the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County Youth of the Year recipients.

Boys & Girls Club President and CEO Dawn Stanhope introduced Taylor B., a student at Palmetto High School, as the Youth of the Year winner. Taylor was selected for exemplary leadership, academic achievements, and dedication to community service. Chandler D. of Mills Elementary was also named Junior Youth of the Year, showcasing remarkable personal growth and commitment to the club’s values at a young age.

The Youth of the Year program highlights students who demonstrate resilience, leadership, and a positive impact on their peers and community. The School Board commended both honorees for their achievements and contributions to the Manatee County community.
