Manatee County Seeks Applicants for Part-Time Lifeguard Positions
Manatee County is currently accepting applications for part-time Pool Lifeguard OPS and Senior Pool Lifeguard OPS positions. The starting pay for these roles is $18.48 per hour, and applicants are required to hold a Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
To support individuals who are not yet certified, the county is offering a lifeguard certification course at the G.T. Bray Aquatic Center, located at 5508 33rd Avenue Drive West, Bradenton. The course fee is $200, and participants can choose from one of the following sessions:
Friday, August 15: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday, August 16: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Sunday, August 17: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Position eligibility requirements include:
Pool Lifeguard OPS: Must be at least 16 years old
Senior Pool Lifeguard OPS: Must be at least 18 years old
