The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has introduced a new online reporting system, making it easier for residents in unincorporated areas of the county to file non-emergency reports from the convenience of their devices.

Accessible at manateesheriff.com, the platform enables users to submit various report types without needing to call or visit a station. Common incidents that can now be reported online include minor traffic collisions, thefts, vandalism, scams, lost property, and various types of fraud, such as identity theft or check forgery.

Residents can also file supplemental reports to add details to an existing case or submit non-criminal information reports. The goal is to streamline services while freeing up emergency resources for more urgent matters.
