Manatee County Sheriff Seeks Fugitive on Multiple Theft Charges

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating John Tench, who is wanted on multiple felony charges. Authorities say Tench is wanted for grand theft, obtaining a motor vehicle by fraud, and trafficking in stolen property.

Investigators released his photo as part of their Warrant Wednesday initiative, which highlights individuals actively being sought on outstanding warrants.

Anyone who has information on Tench’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office at (941) 747-3011. Anonymous tips may also be shared through CrimeStoppers of Manatee County at 1-866-634-TIPS.

Law enforcement officials remind the public not to approach Tench if spotted, but to call authorities immediately.
