Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help Locating Wanted Sexual Offender
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating James Anderson, who is wanted on a charge of failure to notify the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) of an address change as required for a registered sexual offender.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Anderson’s whereabouts to contact the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office at (941) 747-3011. Those who wish to remain anonymous can submit tips through CrimeStoppers of Manatee County by calling 1-866-634-TIPS.
Law enforcement reminds residents not to approach individuals who are wanted. Instead, anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities so officers can safely investigate and take appropriate action.
