Manatee County Students Invited to Enter 2026 Drop Savers Water Conservation Poster Contest
Manatee County K-12 students are being encouraged to put their creativity to work for a good cause as the 2026 Drop Savers Water Conservation Poster Contest officially opens.
The annual contest invites student artists to design an original poster highlighting the importance of water conservation. Entries may include a slogan, an illustration, or a combination of both, focusing on why saving water matters and how simple actions can make a difference in everyday life.
The contest is open to all Manatee County students in kindergarten through 12th grade and aims to promote water awareness while encouraging young people to think critically about conservation habits at home, at school, and in the community.
Winners will receive a certificate and medal, water conservation promotional items, and the opportunity to have their artwork displayed at the Manatee County Administration Building. First-place winners in each category will also advance to compete in the statewide Florida Section American Water Works Association water conservation poster contest.
The deadline to submit entries is February 20, 2026. Additional contest details, entry guidelines, and examples of past winning artwork are available on mymanatee.org under the Water Conservation School Poster Contest.
